PFS Brokers is a credit representative of Finsure Finance and Insurance Pty Ltd. The linked Finsure policy describes the licensee’s handling of information; PFS remains your first contact for an enquiry submitted here.

Information we collect

We collect the contact details and answers you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, location, finance purpose, approximate amount, employment or business circumstances, existing borrowing and timing. The questions shown on the form determine what we ask for. We also keep relevant correspondence and contact preferences.

The website and its providers can record technical and usage information such as IP address, browser/device information, page visits, referral or campaign information and quiz activity. We do not treat these identifiers as necessarily anonymous.

You can browse or ask a general question without completing a quiz. If required information is withheld, we may be unable to respond, assess the enquiry or assist further. Please do not put identity documents, tax file numbers, passwords or banking credentials into an enquiry form. If you later need to provide documents or sensitive information, ask us for the appropriate collection process.

Collection and purpose

We receive information directly when you submit a form or contact us. Information may also come from someone you authorise, a referral source or another service involved in your enquiry where permitted. If you give us someone else’s information, obtain their authority and make this policy available to them.

We use enquiry information to understand what you are seeking, arrange and conduct follow-up, keep customer records, administer our services, respond to requests and complaints, maintain security and meet applicable obligations. We may need further information before giving credit assistance or preparing an application.

Who may receive information

Our authorised staff and service providers may handle information needed for the enquiry. Providers include the website and customer-management platform (Broker Closer), hosting and data-storage services, communications providers, and administrative or technical support. Automated software can route enquiries, organise records and send follow-up messages. Where AI-assisted administration is used, relevant enquiry information may be processed by the technology provider; an automated quiz or message is not a lender’s credit decision.

If you proceed, information may be shared with the relevant credit licensee or aggregator, prospective lenders, professional advisers, people you authorise and other parties involved in arranging the requested finance. We may also disclose information where law requires or permits it. Additional application, identity-verification or credit-reporting notices and any required authorisations apply at that stage; this policy is not itself consent to a credit check.

Website measurement and advertising

Cookies, browser storage and similar technology support the enquiry experience, security and usage measurement. Where advertising integrations are enabled, services such as Meta may receive page/event information, referral identifiers, IP/device information and matching identifiers derived from contact details to measure campaigns. Hashing a contact detail does not make it anonymous to a service that can match it.

You can manage cookies through your browser and advertising preferences through the relevant provider, including Meta’s privacy information. Browser controls may affect site functions and do not automatically stop every form of server-side processing. Contact us to discuss available privacy choices before submitting.

Overseas processing

Online hosting, customer-management, communications and support services may store, process or access enquiry information in Australia and overseas, including the United States. For example, the platform’s email and messaging services can involve US-based providers. Overseas processing is not limited to where a business office is located.

Other countries depend on the provider and the finance service you use. The linked business or licensee notices below give further details for their systems. Contact us for current information about recipients and locations relevant to your enquiry. Applicable privacy obligations continue to apply to overseas disclosures; submitting an enquiry does not waive those protections.

Contact and marketing choices

An enquiry requests a response about the finance or service you have asked about. Contact may be by phone, email or SMS. This is separate from any optional marketing subscription. Marketing communications are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.

You can opt out of marketing without charge using the unsubscribe option in a message or by contacting us using the details above. Tell us which contact details and channels your request covers. Necessary communications about an active request or legal obligation may still be required; you can also ask us to close your enquiry.

Storage, security and retention

Enquiry information is held electronically in the form and customer-management systems and may also be kept in correspondence or later application records. Access controls and other reasonable safeguards are used to limit unauthorised access. No internet or storage system is completely risk-free.

Records need to be kept for the enquiry, any resulting service and applicable legal, regulatory or dispute-handling requirements. You may ask about retention or request deletion. Immediate or complete deletion may not be possible where a record must be retained. Information no longer needed should be securely destroyed or de-identified, subject to those requirements. A data incident will be handled under applicable breach-assessment and notification obligations.

Access, correction and complaints

Contact us to request access to your information, correction of an error, information about its source or a copy of this policy in another form. We may need to verify your identity. We will consider the request within the applicable timeframe and explain any lawful refusal and available complaint options.

If you are concerned about information handling, tell us what happened and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days or sooner where required. If more time is needed, we will explain the delay and the next steps.

If unresolved, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (1300 363 992). For an eligible financial-services complaint, the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (1800 931 678) may also be available. These bodies apply their own jurisdiction, eligibility and time limits.

Other services and policy updates

This page describes enquiries through this platform. A lender, licensee, group business or other website may have separate collection and credit-reporting notices. Review those when you use that service.

Finsure’s privacy policy (the credit licensee’s information handling)

We may update this page when information practices change. The date at the top identifies this version. Contact us before submitting if you need clarification; a policy update does not retrospectively provide a consent that was required at collection.
